why you’re coming to CGA. What helped you make this decision? What do you hope to get from your experience here? Where do you hope it launches you at the end of your term here?

So I am about a month away from starting the program called CGA (the Center for Global Action). Some people may be wondering why I would jump straight from the world race to having to fund-raise once again. Why would I leave home again to pursue a calling that frankly I am still not 100% what it looks like. Why I would step into a way of life that fund-raising and relying on God more than the average Joe is the way I choose to live. this is a blog to tell you why, and also to introduce you to my new Blog!!

Why I am coming to CGA when I could just go straight to the missions field? This last year God has transformed who I am into the person I was meant to be. I have learned so much into who I am, and how to live in community, as well as what it looks like to trust God in situations that seem impossible. CGA is meant for me to be able to expand on these things and continue to grow in what I believe God has called me to. This calling is missions work and I couldn’t be more excited. I will be learning and living alongside people who are pursuing the same thing as me. Weather that is being a missionary in another country, or in the work place. They all have a desire to understand community better and also learn what it means to be fully reliant on God.

I was talking to a family member of mine and he voiced a concern that he was wondering if this was a good decision. That I could find this stuff without having to fund-raise again and that I might feel lost or if something is missing if I do not go. This is a valid concern, but I am wanting to let people that may have the same thought this is not valid for me. I am perfectly content in who I am and weather I go to CGA or not I know I am pointed in the right direction of where God is leading me. I know I could find all of this in another program or church, but this is the one that I feel sets me up for success at the present moment. I will be pushed and grown in ways that the people in this program understand. Every person who attends this program have been through the World Race, and there is just something special about that, because they know.

At the end of the program I hope to be at the point of moving to another country soon. In October I am meeting with a guy who is a missionary in the Philippines where I am going to see if the door opens for me to partner with him and his ministry. I will update if things pan out on that, but if for some reason that is not the correct door, I am confident that God will direct me to the correct one. I love traveling culture to culture and working with the marginalized and this is the direction I am trying to go.

I thank you for all the support you have given me and the prayers that have happened!! I am eternally grateful and there are no words I have to express just how thankful!

I currently need $2500 by September 16th so I can start this program. If you could prayerfully consider partnering with me financially I would greatly appreciate it! As always you can partner with me through prayer as well!! Thank you so much!!
